For restaurants, taquerías, panaderías, cafés
Restaurant websites that actually fill tables.
A single-operator San Diego studio building bilingual restaurant websites that are built mobile-first, ship the full AI-crawler stack so AI search can cite you, and turn the 9pm Friday "are you still open?" search into a reservation.
Why this matters
Your customers find you on a phone, at the curb, in 2 seconds.
Most San Diego restaurants are losing customers to whichever competitor has a faster mobile site and clearer answer to "are you open right now?" The big-three template platforms (Wix, Squarespace, GoDaddy) take 4-6 seconds to load on a 4G phone, hide the hours behind a click, and feed Google nothing the AI Overview can quote. That's the gap. We build sites that are studio-grade on the front and AI-search-optimized on the back so when someone in your neighborhood asks ChatGPT or Google "best taquería near me," your name shows up.
- Built and measured mobile-first — designed on a phone, not squeezed onto one
- Hours, address, phone, menu visible above the fold — no clicks, no scrolling
- Schema.org Restaurant + LocalBusiness + Menu markup so AI search engines can cite you by name
- Click-to-call, click-to-map, click-to-reserve buttons that work on the first tap
- Bilingual (English + Spanish) on the same domain with hreflang — both audiences indexable
What's included
Everything a restaurant actually needs — nothing it doesn't.
Bilingual home + menu pages
Full English and Spanish versions of every page on the same domain. Real translation by a fluent operator, not Google Translate. Hreflang tags so search engines index both. Lang toggle in the nav.
Mobile-first design
Designed phone-up. Tap targets sized for thumbs, menu scannable in 5 seconds, hours and address visible without a single click.
Online reservations + ordering integration
Connect to OpenTable, Resy, Toast, Square, ChowNow, or DoorDash without rebuilding. Or run a simple form that emails you reservations directly — owner's choice.
Google Business Profile sync + local SEO
We rebuild your GBP (address, hours, services, photos, posts) so it matches the site and beats competitor profiles. Plus on-page schema, citation cleanup, and review-response templates for both languages.
AI search optimization
Restaurant + Menu + LocalBusiness JSON-LD schema, llms.txt for AI crawler citation, bilingual FAQ markup — the full stack an AI search engine needs to cite you when someone asks it "best Mexican food in Hillcrest."
Real photography
Either commissioned photo shoot (Studio tier) or curated stock with brand-aligned editing (Production tier). No generic burrito photos pulled from Pexels. The food has to look like your food.
Hosting + monitoring + updates
Site hosted on Vercel (global edge delivery), with uptime monitoring, content updates (new menu, hours change, holiday closure) included in the monthly. You text me, I push.
Pricing
Quoted on the call. No setup until we've talked.
Pricing and setup are quoted on the 15-minute call based on the menu size, location count, and whether you need bilingual from day one. No public tier table — your restaurant is not a spreadsheet.
- Hosting + monitoring included
- Monthly content updates (new menu, holiday hours, specials)
- Bilingual AI-SEO maintenance
- One operator answering the phone — me
- 30-day refund if I miss the spec
- Section rebuild after 90 days on me if it under-performs
Restaurant FAQ
The questions every restaurant owner asks me.
- How is this different from Wix, Squarespace, or GoDaddy?
- Templates are built to be sold to a million people, not to compete in your zip code. They load slow, hide critical info, and feed Google nothing AI Overviews can cite. A custom site I build for your restaurant surfaces the answer to "are you open?" in the first viewport and ships with the schema markup that makes you citable in AI search answers. The monthly is comparable. The result isn't.
- Do you build the bilingual version, or do I have to translate it?
- I build it. Real Spanish, not Google Translate. Native operator-level voice, tested against the way your customers actually speak. Same domain, same brand, hreflang-tagged so Google indexes both. The Spanish version isn't an afterthought — it's the second-class-language problem fixed.
- Can you integrate OpenTable / Resy / Toast / DoorDash?
- Yes. All of them. Plus Square, ChowNow, BentoBox, Tock — anything with an embeddable widget or API. If you don't want third-party reservations, a simple form that emails you works fine too.
- What about photos? My existing photos are ten years old.
- Studio tier includes a photo shoot ($300 included in setup). Production tier uses high-end stock with brand-aligned editing if you don't have current shots — never a generic burrito photo. Either way, the food on the site has to be your food.
- How fast can the site go live?
- Preview tomorrow. Real working site on a real URL within 24 hours of our 15-min call. Live within 5-10 days for a single-location restaurant, 2-3 weeks for a multi-location chain with bespoke design.
- Do you work with restaurants outside San Diego?
- Yes — I'm based in San Diego but I build for restaurants across the United States. Bilingual builds in particular are in-demand nationwide. Phone calls and Zoom work the same regardless of zip code.
- What if I already have a website?
- I'll audit it before the call. If your current site is doing fine and you don't need help, I'll tell you. If we can do better, I'll show you exactly where — usually mobile speed, schema, and bilingual coverage.
- Are you part of the San Diego Hispanic Chamber of Commerce?
- I'm in active conversation with SDCHCC. Bilingual + Hispanic-owned-restaurant builds are the studio's strongest verticals, and Chamber membership formalizes that. Email me for updates.
